SkillSync Initiative
Support for emerging Nigerian creative talent, with entrepreneurship and income-generation pathways.

SkillSync sets out to empower emerging creative talent in Nigeria. Its focus is the skills of indigenous creatives, and its aim is to nurture and empower the next generation of creative minds. It runs with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Art, Culture and the Creative Economy.
The programme seeks to provide opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship, and income generation, particularly for youth, women, and persons living with disabilities. Nigeria's creative industry has boundless possibilities for closing the unemployment gap, and through SkillSync the Office aims to strengthen employment in arts and culture, provide an entrepreneurship support programme, and make investments for innovation.
It sits alongside the device work rather than inside it. Where the Breakthrough Series answers what a young person builds with a laptop, SkillSync answers what a creative practitioner does with a skill they already have and no route to market.
Programme design
SkillSync has no separate project design document, so this page carries no targets, delivery timeline, or dated results. Those will be added when the document exists rather than estimated in the meantime.
